Leodis Stairlifts – Growing a customer base with video content – Promotional video

The Brief

Leodis Stairlifts, sell and rent a range of stairlifts to people who struggle to get up and down stairs; in the workplace, care homes and community organisations, and in their homes. Leodis have built a fantastic reputation for providing a great service as well as really good quality products, which offer even more flexibility and speed of install than some of the larger, more well known brands. As a smaller company, however, Leodis weren’t making the most of their success stories.

They also wanted to demonstrate their professionalism and make sure that prospective customers, who may be in a vulnerable state and their families can see at a glance that they are a company that can be trusted to look after them.

The Process

Feature Media were introduced to Leodis, via referral, although they did look at quotes from another two companies. We provided a range of options and because it was a large project, a retainer model payment plan.

We worked with Martin and other senior team members to develop scripts for a promotional video, 2 customer testimonials and some video teasers for use on social media.

Feature Media scheduled shooting to work round a busy workforce and made sure that filming was done in the most cost efficient way possible. We also produced a shotlist and shoot schedule for each shoot so Martin and his team knew what was happening and when.

During filming for the Promotional Video, we used a jib to produce dramatic opening shots, introducing the team, their range of vehicles at one of their 5 sites across the North of England. We showed their regional presence with an animated map. Although Leodis chose to go with an ‘interview’ led promotional video, we also included cutaway shots of products, install and after care.

The Results

Leodis have put their promotional video onto their website and will be using it in e-mail signatures and on social media channels. Feature Media are supporting them with video marketing advice and following up to check engagement.
